Furniture Handling

weHAUL removes all furniture and non-clothing items from the unit as authorized

Items may include beds, sofas, tables, chairs, appliances not affixed to the unit, and similar contents

Clothing and personal apparel are addressed under a separate service policy

15-Day Furniture Storage

All removed furniture is stored by weHAUL for fifteen (15) days

Storage during this period is provided at weHAUL’s expense

Furniture is secured in a controlled environment to limit damage or loss

Re-Purchase Opportunity

During the 15-day storage period:

Property management may offer ex-resident(s) or renter(s) the option to re-purchase their furniture

weHAUL does not negotiate pricing or collect re-purchase payments

All re-purchase funds are remitted directly to the property management company

Funds may be applied as a re-coup toward outstanding balances owed by the ex-renter(s)

Post-Storage Ownership

Upon expiration of the 15-day period:

All unclaimed furniture becomes the lawful possession of weHAUL

weHAUL may dispose of, recycle, donate, or otherwise handle furniture at its discretion

Service Limitations

weHAUL does not perform make-ready services

weHAUL does not prepare units for re-leasing

weHAUL does not perform vehicle towing

Services include:

Furniture removal

Associated trash removal from all areas tied to the unit

Coordination with property management directives only weHAUL operates as a focused clean-out and storage partner, maintaining professionalism, accountability, and compliance while protecting property management interests.
