weHAUL provides structured, compliant unit clean-out support services for property management companies, with a specific focus on the handling of non-furniture personal property, including clothing and general household contents. Our process is designed to protect property interests, support lawful recovery efforts, and reduce on-site liability.

Personal Property Handling

weHAUL removes all clothing and non-furniture personal items from the unit

Items are inventoried and removed only after proper authorization

Furniture removal is handled separately per service agreement

15-Day Storage Period

All qualifying non-furniture personal property is stored by weHAUL for fifteen (15) days

Storage during this period is provided at weHAUL’s expense

Property is secured to prevent damage, loss, or unauthorized access

Re-Purchase Opportunity

During the 15-day storage period:

Property management may offer ex-resident(s) or renter(s) the opportunity to re-purchase their stored items

weHAUL does not collect funds directly for re-purchase

All re-purchase funds are turned over to the property management company

Funds may be applied as a re-coup toward outstanding balances owed by the ex-renter(s)

Post-Storage Ownership

After the 15-day storage period:

All unclaimed personal property becomes the lawful possession of weHAUL

Property may be disposed of, donated, or otherwise handled at weHAUL’s discretion

Service Limitations

weHAUL does not perform make-ready services

weHAUL does not prepare units for re-leasing

weHAUL does not perform vehicle towing

Services are limited to:

Clothing removal

Non-furniture personal property handling

Trash removal from all areas associated with the unit

weHAUL operates with professionalism, accountability, and strict adherence to property management directives, serving as a focused clean-out and recovery support partner.
